A variety of activities will be offered for those who are interested in participating in this morning workshop. Art, music, and movement are all possible for this loosely structured group. Stay tuned here for up to date information.
Lots of Candles, Plenty of Cake!
(aka The Goddess Group)
We will use Anna Quindlen’s book, Lots of Candles, Plenty of Cake as our roadmap. Join us as we look back and ahead, celebrating what life has to offer from marriage to friendship to family. Keeping with the summer theme of transformation, Quindlen’s book will guide us as we share in our common experiences and reflect on "the trip we've made to become ourselves." Group leadership will be shared and each day promises to be a celebration!
Women Loving Women
Come and celebrate with us what it means to be a woman who loves women! WLW events are open to women 18 and older who self-identify with a sexual orientation that includes attraction to women. Whether you identify as lesbian, bisexual, pansexual, questioning, queer, or prefer not to label, you are welcome to join us! We’ll have two WLW tracks:
A Confidential Group will meet each morning for women who are looking for support, discussion, and related activities for issues specific to women loving women. Topics may include: coming out, labeling (or not), how society is changing, the challenges of dating and relationships, sexuality and spirituality, massage techniques, and more. We ask that you commit to the group for the week in order to create a safe space for all participants.
An Activity Group that will include crafts, partner dance instruction, books and/or movie discussion, and more. The focus of this group will be to create a community to socialize and have fun together!
On Monday morning both WLW groups will have the opportunity to work together with a Life Coach who will focus on transitions and transformation.
